Tiger: 3 Wins 0 Losses. Strongest team member out there. Age 43 1/2. 3+ back surgeries. Winning President's Cup Captain. What more does he have to do to be considered the GOAT. I just wish he was still playing Titleist.

Well the US boys pulled up their pants and played very good golf yesterday and won 16 to 14 comeback. Patrick Reed played like a man on a mission but do not think he made many friend downunder and may not have done much for his reputation over here. He just needs to let his clubs do his talking. Ernie did a great job with his young team and put a scare into the more experienced and heavily favored US team. Congratulations to Captain Woods, his assistants, and his boys for a great comeback. Him being a playing captain was the right move. Like to see him Captain the team again when the come to Charlotte in 2021.

Ernie did a great job, had his guys backs and had them all playing together like the Euros are so good at doing in the Ryder Cup. Tiger was magnificent. Royal Melbourne was a great venue. It was a great week for golf, except for Reeds antics... Onto the next, Tournament of Champions in Hawaii in January! More prime time golf!

It seemed like this year with Tiger playing and playing well and the event being close will give the Presidents Cup a boost. One simple change in the format and number of points to win might make it even more exciting. The US team is just too deep for the internationals and if they reduce the number of points then it could provide for many more exciting finishes.
