    While I do like the smaller, rounder look of this style of hat, I find the modern polyester material easier to keep clean and cooler to wear than the old thick 100% cotton. Lots of options out there now for a variety of different tastes.

    I actually got stopped by an older guy at Costco wearing one of those. I had my flat brim on (huge head… the others don’t fit me great), and his was a faded white one with sweat stains and clearly a ton of miles on it. We ended up chatting about how different the hats are now compared to the early 2000’s. That’s when you know it’s a good hat.
