  1. Howdy,

I bought this TS2 from a reputable eBay seller. I am pretty sure it’s legit but I have a few issues. The serial number registers to a 917D3. Does Titleist reuse serial numbers? Also, the paint job looks a little rough (hard edges, overspray on stainless bars). I am just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences.

    Thanks!

I've never bought a club on eBay. Your description of the issues with the head makes it sound like it's not authentic.

Having a serial number indicate a different model would cause me concern. I can't imagine any reason why Titleist would do that.

Go to the bottom of this site under Customer Service/Counterfeit Product Notice and let Titleist know you suspect this is a counterfeit.....
  5. I have been burnt twice buying Titleist irons on eBay. Both were counterfeit. I will never use eBay again unless I am selling

Personally, I would never purchase a club from someone I did not know. I always buy new thru a Titleist account in my community. Have know the owner over thirty years. With respect.
