According to the site, Titleist just announced the "new" Tour Soft and Velocity along with the red TruFeel. I would guess that the $4 drop is for the previous version.

Because new versions are now being released. Boxes have design style like the ProV1/ProV1X boxes. Also updated the Tour Soft and TruFeel.

Official announcement today - the 2020 cycle includes new versions of the Velocity, TourSoft, and a red TruFeel. They may or may not be in stores prior to the PGA Show next week.

New models are coming out.

New Version of the Velocity seems different. Wondering if some manufacturering process or material changed. Older Velocity seem to have more carry and distance. Been using Velocity ever since ball testing for Titleist. Velocity still my go to ball

After playing the 2022. Velocity ball I prefer the prior year model. Something changed just don’t know how or why. New model not as long and feels different.

Here is the info on the new (2022) ball. High flight and low spin does create longer off the tee. The new ball is supposed to be longer.
