    I currently have the 6.5 in my irons and hit the ball really high...can anyone tell me their experience with the 7.0?

    I've played 6.5s and 7s and hit it high regardless. In theory they should knock down launch and spin but I'd get on a launch monitor before making the investment.

    Same here with the Project X rifles. My spin numbers are proper (approx. 7000rpm w/ a 7 iron) but my launch angle is far too high on Trackman. I have found the KBS Ctaper's and Dynamic Gold X100's (soft stepped) to be a better fit for me. They keep my spin in line while still giving me a lower launch.
