Does anyone know what changed from the previous version? I was hoping the new Mini was going to have moveable weights similar to the TM R7.

I heard tour pros were gaming the GT280+ essentially this model last year. I take it the feedback was that players prefer a bigger head.

I am and have been for many years hitting the same set of CB/MB 712s (4-7 CBs & 8-PW MBs) with Project X 6.5 shafts. I have wondered lately how much of a difference the new technology in irons would make in distance and dispersion. Which current irons would be the most similar to the 712 MBs? I enjoy hitting both, but seem to like the feel of the MBs better. 3 handicap.

Thoughts?

907 D1 Driver. What i might upgrade to?

I love my 907 D1 Driver but starting to think that I might need an upgrade. There are so many good options out there but wondering what the best option might be. Should I start with something more recent or just go straight to a 2026 Model? Look forward to the advise that everyone provides.

I've been hesitant to upgrade from my 905T bc I know it and all my misses. I hit friends drivers and love the new drivers. After seeing the results of a R flex 50g I think ill hold out for a fitting before I splurge on a shaft that's not for me. Thanks for the share.

I’m a 10 handicap, iron striking is inconsistent, so I went from the T250 Launch spec irons to the T350. I seem to be hitting them better overall. I drive the ball good, putt well and chip good for the most part. I’m hoping the T350 irons can get me in the single digits. Anyways I wanted everyone’s thoughts on my bag set up. GT1 12 Driver, GT1 5Wood, GT1 7 Wood, GT1 23 Hybrid, T350 6-PW, SM11 48 52 56 60 I game the Spider Putter. For reference. I hit my 48 100 yards, my 6 iron 160, my 5Wood 200, driver 240

Agree with Dale. As we age, course and club management to more important. Our set up is very similar except I gave away my 60* years ago. Don't have the time to practice to become proficient with that club. At 79 and still trying to find my game after spinal surgery my handicap has ballooned to a 20. I know that my irons are inconsistent and my sand game is horrible. My instructor and I have worked on the iron game and the sand game still a work in progress. But I do have my yardages down with my set up and know which club to pull. I do not worry about others or what club they are hitting, I know my yardages. Right now I am adding 15-20 yards to what I was hitting before surgery. Am about four triple bogies from being where I want to be and my strength is starting to return thanks to my instructor.

GT2D - 10.75, GT2F - 14.25, TSR1F -17*, TSR1H - 20, GT3H - 23*, T350 6-48., Vokey 52,08, 56,.10. Squareback Special Select .

With respect to every golfer and member. Know what is best for you and your game. Be yourself, everyone else is taken .

Wow, your set up is very similar to mine other than the iron models. High loft driver, 16.5 (at 17.25) and 21 (at 21.75) fairways, 23 hybrid (at 25 I think), then 6 - P(44) , then Vokeys at 48, 54, 60. Irons are T200 for 6 and 7, then T150 for 8-P (which I call my gap wedge as the 48 is my 'traditional' pitching wedge). Only 13 in the bag for me right now, which is fine. Gaps are good for me. Might even take the 16.5 out as it is very close to the 21.

At the end of the day, what works for you doesn't necessarily work for me or anyone else. If you have good distance gapping and good angles of descent (to hold greens), you are probably in good shape. Otherwise, you might want to consider a fitting appointment to dial things in a bit.

With all due respect, each of us have the ability to set up our bag with what works for us. I could care less what anyone of my fellow TT members thinks of which clubs make up my set and I don’t care what they hit either (unless I count 18 clubs in their bag). :) Bag set up is not a popularity contest. Love playing with my TT buds but I do not apologize for pulling out the 26 degree hybrid on the Par 3 hole when they are hitting irons. Best wishes as you work to get your handicap down. Anything lower than 10 is usually about making more putts and chipping within tap in range.

I've added the GT280 to my bag in the last 2 months, but can't get rid of a slinging low draw off the tee (I tee it at 3-wood height and position the ball about a ball inside my left heel (I'm right-handed).

Does anybody have any tips to help me please? My stock shot off the tee is a baby draw with my TSR2 driver and it was also the same with my previous cally Elyte mini.

I’m several rounds in now with the new Titleist GT280 Mini Driver—and I continue to be really impressed.

I’m currently at an 8.2 handicap—the lowest it’s ever been for me—and just quietly working to get better. My game tends to bounce between solid rounds in the high 70s or low 80s… and then those tougher days creeping into the high 80s. For me, it usually comes down to missed greens in regulation and short game accuracy.

Yesterday, I shot 75, one of my better rounds—and the mini driver absolutely played a role. My current setup includes GT metal woods at 16.5° GT2, 21° GT2, and 24° Hybrid GT2, along with an 8° GT3 Driver. On a par 5 playing downwind (about 15 mph), after a good drive with the GT3, I hit the mini as well as I could from the fairway. Just for comparison, I dropped another ball and hit my 16.5°—the mini carried 20–30 yards longer. But what really stood out was the ball flight, spin kept gt280 much lower: the 16.5° flew much higher (even my wife noticed, saying, “Wow, that’s twice as high!”).

Where the mini really shines for me is off the deck or tee it's so smooth and easy to it, best part it feels strong and confident in windy conditions. I know this club isn’t for everyone, and I completely respect that—but for my game, especially as I’m working hard to give myself more looks at GIR, it’s been a really nice option to have in the bag. It helped me twice yesterday to reach greens I likely wouldn’t have otherwise. (replaced my TRS2+ from last years setup).

Curious to hear from others—who else has put the GT280 in play? How’s it working for you? (there's a reason I gave my fitter a TT bag tag, he was right, good club for me).

I have had one of these in the bag for around 2 months now. I'm finding it hard to keep it straight off the tee, having a pronounced over-draw to it. I tee it quite low (think 3-wood off the tee height) and try to have it a ball or so inside my left heel.

Has anybody else experienced the same and found a cure, or have any advice for me please? Is my set-up the issue or do I need to start adjusting the weights or hozel?

I game a TSR2 10 degree driver and previously had a cally elyte 13.5 mini - both of which I could drive straight with a baby draw.

11 handicap.

Titleist does not leak information here, you must wait for an official announcement to know for sure. Typically these special release versions are done in the middle of the two-year cycles but there have been models where no special release versions were offered. It usually boils down to how well previous versions have sold and what market trends predict will be popular. Bottom line, we all will just wait and see.
