I have played the ProV1 for many many years now, initially in classic white but nowadays in yellow. Is it possible to buy dozen packs of higher numbered balls in yellow? Not seen them anywhere and when checking on website it appears that I could get a higher number but that all twelve balls would be the same number. Is there an option to get 5-8 or 9-12 etc?

No, not yet, and no rumors to the contrary.
5-8 may happen but even single digit 0-9 appears to be out of the question. There is the amount of time it would slow down production and how predictable or accurate would be the sales projections?
If an option, how many would be willing to order direct? Retailers have only so much space for different stock numbers. It did take years after other OEMs added yellow to their premium lines.

Hi Alan! Unfortunately, we do not offer high numbers on Yellow. We only allow special play #'s or high numbers on White Pro V1 and Pro V1x.

And we don’t like that policy. The NXT came in yellow with higher numbers.

AIM Enhanced is also limited to Pro-V’s in white. Many users of yellow tend to be older with some vision acuity issues (well, speaking for myself) and having the option of AIM to line up putts would be a nice feature. Even if only offered during the Buy 3, get 4 sale.
Meanwhile, as a retiree, I customize my alignment by the dozen.
