I start with - dang! This is long! And YES, I am calling out other manufacturers by name. If you have not had a ball fitting, you are not interested in getting better. I was a 1000% srxn Z-Star player until 6/12/26. That was my free Taylor Made ball fitting day. CRAZY RESULTS!!! First, shout out to the fitter (sorry I forgot your name) - he found the best ball for me. It was NOT what he was trying to sell. Second, it turned out to be 180 degrees opposite of what I thought. Numbers don’t lie. I have all png woods, Titleist T250 irons. All custom fit for me. I loved the feel and sound of the Z-Star. Besides the actual results, I also learned something about me. It turned out the fitter showed the numbers for me proved the Left Dash is my ball. Feel, sound, compression are actually irrelevant. Don’t believe “slower swing needs softer ball “ stories. 60 years old, now hitting longer and STRAIGHTER! In 2 months, my index dropped!!! (See attached) If Titleist ever changes or discontinues the Left Dash, I may have to quit playing.
